Last month Sinzer was present at several events centering around impact measurement for social enterprises.

On 19 November we shared the stage of Impact Hub Vienna with social entrepreneur Andreas Heinecke (founder Dialogue in the Dark), prof. dr. Barbara Scheck (University of Hamburg & Social Entrepreneurship Academy Munich) to deliver the message that “impact matters”.

Together with a room full of over 80 social entrepreneurs we outlined the importance of both qualitative and quantitative impact measurement, the power of a great story, various measuring and reporting methods and the power of software to support you in the process.

The following day we continued this conversation during our workshop as part of the Ashoka Leadership Program, a 9-month executive program focussing on social entrepreneurship and innovation. After a highly interesting workshop by Barbara Scheck on the Social Reporting Standard, we concluded the day with a workshop on impact measurement and the use of Sinzer.

Lastly, on 1 December, we were part of (Dutch) Social Impact Factory’s event at University College, Utrecht, informing social enterprises on social impact measurement.

Overarching theme of these events was the importance of social impact measurement for forming new partnerships as well as for scaling your social enterprise.
