Nelline Roest-Boers

Nelline studied International Relations in Groningen and Colombia and is now in her Master Programme International Development Studies at the Wageningen University. Her specialization is “Technology, Communication and Policy”. She also participated in a masterclass Politics and International Development Cooperation at a Dutch NGO, for which she traveled to Uganda to witness the social and economic effects of policy in practice. An internship with Sinzer for her is an ideal opportunity to (learn) to measure these observed effects. In her leisure time Nelline loves to cook for and with friends, while enjoying a good glass of wine. She also loves to drive a boat, ski and hike.

Met name sinds  langdurige zorg, de toeleiding naar werk en jeugdzorg onder de gemeentelijke verantwoordelijkheid vallen. Inclusive Businesses have been part of the ‘development toolkit’ for more than a decade now. The term Inclusive Business (IB) was coined by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development in 2005, which defined IB’s as “a private sector approach to providing goods, services, and livelihoods on a commercially viable basis, either at scale or scalable, to people at the base of the pyramid by making them part of the value chain of companies’ core business as suppliers, distributors, retailers, or customers”.
